Four from Saipan join US Army

HONOLULU, Hawaii—Four young men from Saipan recently joined the U.S. Army, according to Guam Recruiter Sergeant First Class Albert Abadam.

Michael Langdon, son of Adeline Rechuldak of Saipan, enlisted for the Military Occupational Skill of 18X–Special Forces and Airborne. He will be going to Ft. Benning, Georgia for his initial active duty training.

Anthony Hamilton, son of Paul Hamilton and Thelma Majait of Saipan enlisted for the MOS of 15P–Aviation Operations Specialist. He will take his initial active duty training at Ft. Benning, Georgia and Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

Tyrone Zoe Mafnas, son of Joe and Patricia Mafnas of Saipan, also joined for the MOS of 15P. He will take his initial active duty training at Ft. Benning, Georgia and Ft. Rucker, Alabama.

Byron Beltau, enlisted as a 21L–Lithographer. He is the son of Yoshida Beltau and Lory Ngirailab and will take his initial training at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina and Ft. Belvior, Virginia.
