Diabetes Coalition sets meeting

The Diabetes Coalition will be having a meeting among volunteers and supporters this Thursday, July 15, to discuss, among others, re-establishing the working groups in public outreach and client services and other areas.

In a statement e-mailed to the Saipan Tribune by the coalition’s Robert Torres, Konrad Reyes, and the Ayuda Network, they said the coalition’s meeting will be held at the Pacific Gardenia Conference Room at 5:30pm.

The agenda include:

* Transition of CDC Coordinators

* New Coordinators/ Working Group Leaders and Members

* Re-establishing working groups. “Please start thinking about joining a working group and/or heading up an activity/program,” the statement said.

* Community Walking Groups

* November Turkey Walk

* Partnership Strengthening/ Coordinating, which include DPH Diabetes Prevention and Control Program, Rota Diabetes Association, Tinian Diabetes Association, and NMC CREES.

Meal and refreshments will be provided.
