There will be a power outage today, July 15, from 1pm to 4pm, affecting areas along Beach Road.

This outage will affect those hooked to Feeder 1, from Sunleader to Bank Pacific, Jollibee, Martha’s Market, YCO Hardware, Kae Poong, Bencam Building, and residents around these areas.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp.’s Power Division said in a statement that the outage is needed to replace two rotten 45’ primary power poles with transformers.

“An outage is required in order to complete this upgrade. This interruption is necessary to allow CUC linemen to work on de-energized power lines safely,” CUC said.

No traffic lights will be affected.

“CUC requests the cooperation and patience from people driving and residing in these areas while the work is completed,” it said.
