APASEEM hosts call for presentations to highlight CNMI-focused research
Endeavoring to unite a community of researchers, students, and environmental professionals dedicated to exploring and sharing valuable insights on the region, the Asia Pacific Academy of Science, Education, and Environmental Management is excited to invite community members to its upcoming free event, “Call for Action in Presentations” this upcoming week.
APASEEM shared with media partners that the event is scheduled for Nov. 20-22, 2024, at the American Memorial Park for a three-day gathering designed to spotlight research centered on the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
APASEEM shared that with a theme delving into “Exploring and Sharing Research in and About the CNMI,” this APASEEM event invites a broad audience of science and environmental professionals, as well as students and professors from institutions including the University of Guam, the Northern Marianas College, and the CNMI Public School System to participate in presenting and sharing researches involving the CNMI.
The event will run from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the American Memorial Park in Garapan, and each evening provide a prime platform for meaningful discussions, networking, and knowledge exchange.
APASEEM is calling for abstracts and presentations from individuals who wish to contribute their research or insights on issues impacting the CNMI, and is hoping to provide an excellent opportunity for experts, emerging scholars, and passionate students to share their findings and perspectives with an engaged audience.
To participate or submit presentations and/or abstracts, interested parties are encouraged to contact APASEEM via email at apaseem@gmail.com. APASEEM can also be followed on various social media platforms for updates and further details, including Instagram and Twitter or X (@apaseemcnmi), LinkedIn (APASEEM CNMI), and YouTube (APASEEM).
In an effort toward bringing the CNMI community together to support and strengthen research that could help shape a sustainable future for the islands, APASEEM invites CNMI residents, especially those with a passion for environmental and scientific advancement, to attend, learn, and contribute.
