ARC-NMI Chapter donates supplies to Project Buddy Check 670 to support vets

The American Red Cross-NMI Chapter is proud to announce its donation of essential program supplies to Project Buddy Check 670, a newly established nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting veterans in the CNMI. This collaboration aims to enhance advocacy efforts and bridge the service gap for veterans through innovative supplemental activities and programs.

Project Buddy Check 670’s mission is to serve as a voice and advocate for veterans, ensuring they receive the support and resources they deserve. The donation from the American Red Cross-NMI Chapter will provide critical resources to help launch their initiatives, which include community outreach, educational workshops, and social engagement activities designed to empower veterans and their families.

“The American Red Cross has always been committed to serving those who serve our country,” said John Hirsh, executive director at the American Red Cross NMI Chapter. “We are thrilled to support Project Buddy Check 670 in their mission to advocate for our veterans and help them access vital services.”

The supplies donated will enable Project Buddy Check 670 to kickstart their programs, fostering a supportive community for veterans in the NMI. With a focus on bridging service gaps, the organization aims to create an inclusive environment where veterans can connect, share experiences, and find assistance in navigating their post-service lives.

“Thanks to the generous support from the American Red Cross, we can begin our work to uplift our veterans and address their unique challenges,” said John Aguon, president of PBC670. “We are excited to get started and make a positive impact on the lives of those who have served our nation.”
