Artists, food vendors, non-profits asked to register for Flame Tree Arts Festival
The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture is encouraging visual, traditional, and performing artists as well as food vendors to register for the 43rd Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival slated for April 19-21, 2024, at the Garapan Fishing Base.
Registration fees for this year’s festival are as follows:
- Registered artists—free
- New and non-registered artists—$150
- Food vendors—$500
- Non-profit organizations —$600
- Information booth—Free (No sales related)
- Commercial registered artists (Business license required)—$200
Applications are available for pick up at the Commonwealth Council for Arts & Culture, Building 1312, Capitol Hill, starting March 12, 2024, and will be due no later than March 29, 4pm.
Fifteen food vendor slots will be opened. CCAC must receive all completed forms no later than April 8, 2024, 4pm.
Thirty-five slots are available for arts and crafts in first-come, first-serve basis.
The Flame Tree Arts Festival is free to the public and is the biggest annual festival that celebrates the rich art and cultural heritage of the Commonwealth.
The theme for this year’s event is “Healing, Bridging, and Thriving.”
The annual festival puts arts at its finest by featuring a wide selection of artworks from the CNMI’s registered and non-registered, traditional and contemporary artists, using different mediums and offering varied price ranges to suit anyone’s taste and budget.
The event also showcases presentations from local and guest performing groups and musicians, art demonstrations, and an array of delightful festival food favorites for an enjoyable weekend with family and friends.
