Chamber to host scholarship awarding ceremony in Oct. meeting
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its upcoming October general membership meeting to be held at the Hyatt Regency Ballroom on Oct. 4 from 11:30am to 1:30pm.
The centerpiece of this meeting will be the Chamber scholarship awarding ceremony, where the prestigious 2023 Saipan Chamber of Commerce scholarship recipients will be announced. These deserving individuals will be honored for their outstanding educational accomplishments and contributions to the community.
The meeting will also include Chamber committee updates, keeping our members informed and engaged in the Chamber’s ongoing initiatives. Attendees can expect to hear about the latest developments and opportunities within the organization.
Additionally, don’t miss the opportunity to support the Chamber’s Armed Forces Committee, as they will be selling raffle tickets during the meeting in an effort to help raise funds to support future plaque exchanges and initiatives, ensuring that we continue to honor the military personnel and veterans all while strengthening community ties with the Armed Forces. The SCC AFC have some exciting raffle prizes, don’t miss out on a chance to win as well as support the committee and its initiatives.
Furthermore, the Chamber is proud to announce the launch of the 2023 Annual Toys for Tots Campaign, a community-driven effort to bring joy to children during the holiday season. This is a chance for us to make the holiday season a little brighter for local children on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. Attendees are encouraged to bring a toy to the meeting as their donation, helping us kick off this wonderful campaign.
Lastly, distinguished guest speaker, marketing manager and outreach specialist, Roman Tudela, MBA, from the CNMI Small Business Development Center network will share valuable insights into the CNMI SBDC Network’s Programs & Services, offering valuable resources and support for our local businesses and provide information and areas of support through the SBDC network via their current and upcoming initiatives.
The registration fee for Chamber members is $25, while future Chamber members are welcome to attend for a fee of $35. This fee covers attendance, networking opportunities, access to presentations, and a delicious lunch.
