DPS schedules car seat check and OP/CR check points

The CNMI Department of Public Safety would like to inform the public that DPS will be conducting Occupant Protection/Child Restraint (OP/CR) check points today, Sept. 19, 2024.

The first checkpoint will be along Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Chalan Kiya, from 8am to 10am.

The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Dandan, to Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, Chalan Kiya from 4:45pm to 6pm.

The third checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Martinez, Koblerville, to Chalan Monsignor Martinez, As Lito from 7:30pm to 8:4pm.

Each checkpoint will be 75 minutes on every site. The purpose of these scheduled checkpoints are to detect, deter, and identify improper use of seat belts and/or Child Car Seat in the highway. (PR)
