DPS seeks public assistance in locating missing 15-year-old girl

The Department of Public Safety is asking the community to assist in the search for 15-year-old Tegan Quitano, who has been missing for nearly a week. Quitano was last seen in Kagman and has not been in contact with her family or friends since then.

According to the DPS, Quitano was reported missing after she failed to attend school throughout the entire week. Concerned family members reached out to the authorities, leading to an official search. Quitano’s last known interaction was with a friend three nights ago in Kagman. Since then, several attempts to reach her via phone have gone unanswered.

The last sighting of Quitano places her in the Kagman area, where she was seen wearing a black shirt and sweatpants. Witnesses observed her getting into an SUV, though they were unable to provide details regarding the vehicle’s make, model, or color.

Authorities are now appealing to the public for any information that could assist in locating the missing teen. “We are asking anyone who may have seen Tegan or had any recent contact with her to come forward,” said assistant chief of police Simon T. Manacop. “Your information could be crucial in bringing her home safely.”

Those with information are encouraged to contact the DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau at (670) 664-9042, the DPS Headquarters at (670) 664-9001, or the Crime Stoppers Hotline at (670) 234-7272. Callers who wish to remain anonymous may do so.

As the search for Tegan Quitano intensifies, the DPS is relying on the community’s vigilance and cooperation to ensure her safe return.
