Delegate race remains a close one
The delegate race remains a close one with CNMI Republican Party bet Kimberlyn King-Hinds just a little over 160 votes ahead of Democratic Party of the Northern Mariana Islands candidate Edwin K. Propst.
As of 12:27am, the Commonwealth Election Commission has released unofficial tabulation results for Precinct 3A and 3B.
According to the updated results, King-Hinds remains in the lead with 2,948 votes. However, Propst is only 161 votes behind with 2,787 votes.
Falling behind Propst are independent candidates John Oliver Gonzales with 1,624, James Rayphand with 496 votes, and Liana Hofschneider with 201.
