Eleven Tiger, Hana tear through foes in MSL

Eleven Tiger of Marianas Soccer League 1 and Hana Football Club of MSL 2 tore through their foes in Week 6 of the Marianas Soccer League at the NMI Soccer Training Center in Koblerville.

Eleven Tiger routed Kanoa FC, 4-2, last Thursday, while Hana edged Shirley’s FC 2, 3-1 last Sunday.

Kanoa got the better of Eleven Tiger first as Adrian Lubao scored the first goal for their team and the game at the 30th minute mark. However, Eleven Tiger’s R.J. Narvaez evened it up two minutes later for a 1-1 game.

Kanoa went on to become scoreless, while Eleven Tiger’s Tanapon Unsa found the net in the 57th minute and in the 63rd minute to put them up, 3-1. Teammate Akira Kadokura then made it 4-1 before Kanoa could even think about scoring their second goal.

Toward the end of the match, Kanoa’s Daniell Pablo found an opening and scored the second goal, but it was too late for a comeback as time expired.

Over in MSL 2, all goals were scored not even four minutes into the game. It became a push for Hana to keep the lead as they were up, 3-1 throughout the match.

Hana’s Boaz Lim, Don Cabrera, and Kang San Kim scored the three goals, while Shirley’s Jedediah Peteru scored their lone goal.

In other MSL 1 results, Kanoa FC outgoaled NMI U15 NT, 5-1; Latte FC won over MP United FC, 3-1; and Paire FC beat NMI U15 NT, 4-2.

In MSL 2, Shirley’s FC 1 slipped past Matansa FC, 2-1; WNT Development Team defeated Bangladesh FC, 5-3; and Old B Bank powered past MP United FC, 3-1.
