GCC’s Adult Education Department to host open house
The Guam Community College Adult Education Program Team is inviting everyone who is 18 years and older and not in high school to an open house this Friday, July 19, 2024, at 9am on the Mangilao campus. This event is for those who want to finish their high school diploma or GED, or take ESL (English as a Second Language) classes, or improve their skills in math and English.
Attendees at the open house will learn about the high school diploma program and how to get a GED. They can also get information about ESL classes and refresher courses in math and English. During the event, they will have a chance to tour the campus, see the classrooms and facilities, and meet current students and graduates of the programs. Additionally, the American Job Center will be there to help answer questions about job training and finding work.
This is a great chance for those looking to continue their education. Stop by and find all the resources available to help you reach your goals. GCC Adult Education staff and faculty will be present at the event to provide advice and support for planning the next chapter in your life of finishing your high school education.
“The Adult Education Programs Team will be present to guide potential participants through the enrollment process and share information about the program,” said Mariesha Cruz-San Nicolas, GCC associate dean. “Taking that first step onto the campus will open many doors to achieving academic success and learning about career opportunities,” she added.
Don’t miss this opportunity to take the next step in your education and career! For more information, please contact the GCC Adult Education team at GCC Adult Education Open House.
