Gonzales to officially announce delegate candidacy this Sunday
John Oliver Reyes “Bolis” Gonzales will officially announce his run for NMI delegate to U.S. Congress live on Sunday, March 17, 11am ChST on KKMP Radio, Facebook, and Zoom.
Gonzales, Saipan born and homegrown son with mixed Chamorro and Filipino heritage, will share his lifelong passion and impeccable record of public service, community advocacy, and leadership in many nonprofit organizations spanning over two decades. He also served as a grant writer in the CNMI executive and legislative branches and U.S. federal departments and U.S. Congress and worked as a former chief of staff to two prior gubernatorial administrations, among others, helping people and everyone no matter their origin who live and call the Marianas home.
He will premise his achievements, his vision, and plans, leveraging the Covenant as a bold leader and his proven record to build upon the work of the current delegate. He will do so in order to relentlessly work on pressing issues unique to the Northern Marianas and which matters to its people in his pursuit to become the next NMI delegate to Congress this coming November mid-term elections.
