King-Hinds leads in early voting
At 9:38pm, the CEC has issued unofficial results from early voting ballot tabulations. In the U.S delegate race, CNMI Republican Party delegate candidate Kimberlyn King-Hinds has taken the lead with 1,981 votes or about 39% of early votes. However, Democratic Party of the Northern Mariana Islands delegate candidate Edwin Propst is tailing closely behind with 1,609 votes or about 32% of early votes. Independent delegate candidate John Oliver Gonzales garnered 1,006 votes, followed by independent candidate James Rayphand with 318 votes and coming in last is Liana Hofschneider with 115 votes.
