Lions Club, Xtreme Fitness 670 support RB’s health and wellness campaign

The Saipan Beacon Lions Club and Xtreme Fitness 670 met with Mayor Ramon B. “RB” Camacho last April 22, 2024 to formalize their commitment to support the Saipan Mayor’s Office’s effort to promote health and wellness in the community through Zumba.

The SMO’s office parking lot was made available for Zumba classes of Xtreme Fitness 670 by Camacho as the first step in implementing his health and wellness campaign as having sufficient space is necessary for holding Zumba sessions.

“Leaders and a lot of other volunteers in the Xtreme Fitness 670 club which provides free Zumba and other fitness activities to the public are members of the Saipan Beacon Lions Club. As fellow Lions, our club assists these members in their endeavors to help them provide better services to the community,” said Saipan Beacon Lions Club president Yolanda Villavicencio.

The Xtreme Fitness 670 has been providing Zumba fitness classes on Saipan and Tinian for two years now. The free class offered by licensed instructors Mitch Olita and Angelo Galfo is not only limited to Zumba dancing; they also offer Strong Nation, HIIT workout, Tabata, Toning, Step Workout, and CIRCL Mobility. The Xtreme 670 Coaches License allows them to provide classes for all ages, including Zumba Kids Jr., Zumba Kids, and Zumba Gold.

Free Zumba sessions are conducted by Xtreme Fitness 670 from Monday to Friday, 6:30pm-7:45pm at the mayor’s office parking lot.

The class schedules are as follows:

Monday: Zumba Fitness/Tabata & CIRCL Mobility; Tuesday- Zumba Fitness/Toning & CIRCL Mobility;

Wednesday: Strong Nation/HIIT Workout; Thursday — Zumba Fitness / Step workout & CIRCL Mobility

Friday: Zumba Fitness/CIRCL Mobility.
