NMIBF meeting this Saturday
The Northern Mariana Islands Basketball Federation is holding a general membership meeting this Saturday, Aug. 17, at 11am in the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium conference room.
The meeting will discuss the recap of 2021-current NMIBF activities, financial reports, present to 2026 strategic plans, Ada Gymnasium/Koblerville Gymnasium updates, general membership annual fee, and current board of director nominations and 2026 board of director elections.
Current NMIBF president, James Lee, is not seeking reelection. He has two more years in his post. He said, “Though it will be two years from now, I would like to prepare us for the transition so that we can all work together, especially for some who are interested in taking the lead.”
He invites anyone who is interested in partaking in the meeting and said, “The NMIBF is for the islands and whatever we do pretty much dictates the future of our sport.”
