NMTech expands educational horizons with new online programs
Expanding technical education in the region, the Northern Marianas Technical Institute launched its latest suite of online programs.
The new programs became available last Aug. 27 and are tailored to meet the ever-growing demand for flexible and accessible education, empowering students to thrive in today’s competitive job market.
In a press release, NMTech shared that its latest programs provide a comprehensive array of training and certification opportunities in some of the most sought-after fields. Whether someone is a beginner looking to build foundational skills or a seasoned professional seeking to enhance technical prowess, the courses offer something for everyone.
The new programs include a variety of disciplines, such as: Microsoft Word Associate, aimed at mastering word processing and document creation; Microsoft Excel Associate, focused on data organization, analysis, and presentation; Adobe Certified Professional Visual Design, which equips students with advanced visual design skills using Adobe’s industry-standard tools; and Adobe Certified Professional Graphic Design and Illustration, which will teach graphic design and illustration to create compelling visual content.
Courses for Intuit, such as Intuit Quick Books are also available, and they will provide expertise in financial record management and bookkeeping. Intuit Bookkeeping Professional, for instance, will offer in-depth training for a career in bookkeeping and financial management, while Intuit Personal Finance will cover personal finance principles and strategies for financial well-being.
The IT Specialist Database course is also available and it offers training in database management and administration. IT Specialist: Software Development, meanwhile, focuses on software development, coding, and application creation.
For its part, AutoDesk Certified User-AutoCAD teaches the fundamentals of 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD, while AutoDesk Certified User-Revit Imperial or Metric specializes in Revit for architectural design and construction modeling. IC3 Digital Literacy endeavors to enhance digital literacy skills, covering key concepts in computing and internet usage.
