No. 4 CNMI netters continue to climb ranks

CNMI netters—Colin Sinclair and Carol Lee—keep climbing the ranks in the international and national tennis scene.

This year, Sinclair has achieved his highest career ranking in the ATP at No. 347, from No. 410 in 2019.

He will move up to play in his first ever full tour event, the Zhuhai ASTP 250 next year.

The 29-year-old won his third and most recent singles title in the ITF Tour after taking home the championship of the Rancho Santa Fe Tournament in California over Frenchman Jaimee Floyd Angele, 6-3, 6-2.

Meanwhile, collegiate athlete Lee, who plays tennis for Georgia Tech, got her second All-American selection this year after the Intercollegiate Tennis Association officially announced the 2023 All-American honorees.

She also made her second appearance in the NCAA Singles Championships and reached the quarterfinals, marking the deepest run of her career. A mainstay in the national singles rankings, Lee climbed as high as No. 7 nationally on March 21 and finished that season ranked No. 14.
