Palacios OKs admin leave in the spirit of holiday season
Gov. Arnold I. Palacios is authorizing non-essential employees of the government’s executive branch to take administrative leave this Tuesday, Dec. 26, in the spirit of the holiday season.
In a memorandum addressed to all department and agency heads yesterday, Palacios said with the holiday season approaching, he would like to take a moment to express his heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work, dedication, and sacrifice throughout this year.
“Your continued commitment, support, and contributions to the Commonwealth have been instrumental in overcoming the obstacles we face,” the governor said.
Palacios said he and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang, along with their families, wish all the executive branch personnel and their families a “joyous holiday season and prosperous New Year.”
“May this coming year be filled with health, happiness and abundant opportunities for the Commonwealth. Stay safe CNMI,” the governor said.
