Plumeria Steakhouse unveils $14.95 fusion buffet

Plumeria Steakhouse is offering the best of both worlds—or in this case of all worlds—with the launch of its fusion $14.95 lunch buffet last March.

Owner Steve Jang said diners can enjoy Old World cuisine like lasagna, New World dishes like fried chicken, and Asian staples like adobo and sweet & sour pork any day at the Garapan upscale restaurant’s eat-all-you-can spread.

“The food that we offer them are fusion food like local, Korean, Filipino, and continental. We have chicken adobo in Korean style, spicy squid with a Korean twist, and pork cutlet and chicken sisig with a little bit of Chamorro touch. We also serve eggplant lasagna with coconut sauce, American style [dishes] with a taste of Japanese, and other entrees that are mixture of different styles of food,” he said.

The longtime local businessman said their lunch buffet’s menu changes everyday and since it’s April and mahi season, don’t be surprised to see mahi sinigang, mahi teppanyaki, and other mahi specialties in their buffet spread.

“The mahi comes fresh from local fishermen who bring their catch to me. It’s a win-win situation for the local fishermen and small businesses like us.”

Aside from the catch-of-day like mahi, Jang said eat-all-you-can diners can also be assured that the produce they use are also fresh and bought from hardworking farmers on island.

“We use only fresh ingredients and make our dishes from scratch,” he said.

As well as delivering an eclectic taste pallet for diners, Jang said he also introduced the daily fusion lunch buffet to give office workers a chance to enjoy a sumptuous meal.

“We launched 15 days ago a fusion lunch buffet so people can just come and just eat and go within that short period of time. People don’t want to wait 15 to 20 minutes for their orders to come out. Lunch hours are usually 11:30am-12:30pm or 12-1pm. I want to accommodate that type of customer to come in and eat and then go,” he said.

And so far, so good as since offering the fusion lunch buffet, Plumeria Steakhouse has enjoyed a steady stream of customers.

“I’m just very happy to offer this simple fusion menu. Our customers have 100% liked the food and I get a lot of good comments.”

It’s been doing so good that Jang is already planning to unveil a Sunday special buffet in the coming weeks.

Plumeria Steakhouse’s fusion lunch buffet is available from 11am to 2pm, Monday-Friday. Aside from the eat-all-you-can treat, early-risers can also take advantage of their $6.95 breakfast available from 7am to 10:30am everyday with last order at 10:30am. Plumeria Steakhouse is also open for special events like birthdays, graduations, christenings, etc.
