SHS to give away Seresto collars at Sabulu Market

This Thanksgiving season, the Saipan Humane Society, with the generous support of the Banfield Foundation, is giving thanks to the community by offering free Seresto collars for local dogs at the Sabulu Market tomorrow, Nov. 23, from 6am to 10am. This initiative aims to help protect pets from fleas and ticks during the holiday season and beyond.

The Seresto collar is a vet-recommended flea and tick prevention solution that offers up to eight months of continuous protection. It is safe for dogs seven weeks and older, providing a long-lasting, mess-free option to ensure pets stay comfortable and healthy. This holiday season, SHS team is thrilled to give back to the community with this generous giveaway.

“We are incredibly thankful to the Banfield Foundation for making this event possible, especially as we come together to celebrate Thanksgiving,” said SHS clinical director Ruby Ma. “This time of year, we want to give thanks for the animals and families in our community, and we’re excited to help pet owners ensure their dogs stay safe from fleas and ticks.”

In addition to the free Seresto collars, pet owners are invited to visit the SHS clinic to purchase Simparica Trio, a highly effective heartworm preventative. This medication also protects against fleas, ticks, and intestinal parasites, making it an essential part of any pet’s health routine.

The Seresto collar giveaway is available for dogs aged seven weeks and older, while supplies last. SHS encourages all pet owners to stop by Sabulu Market between 6am and 10am for this important community event.

The Banfield Foundation is dedicated to supporting the health and welfare of pets in communities across the U.S. and globally. By partnering with organizations like SHS, the foundation works to provide pet care solutions and improve access to veterinary services for underserved populations. (PR)
