Saipan Humane Society hosts successful clinic on Rota
The Saipan Humane Society, in collaboration with Banfield Foundation and Veterinarians without Borders, celebrated a milestone with their first-ever clinic on Rota last Dec. 9, 2023.
The event marked a significant step toward providing essential pet care services to the community that offered a range of free services, including vaccinations, flea and tick medication, the 4DX test for heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma, and Lyme disease, as well as sick consultations.
The turnout exceeded expectations, highlighting the demand for pet healthcare services within the Rota community, according to SHS clinic manager Ruby Ma.
“We were pleasantly surprised by the substantial turnout from the Rota community, and we are deeply grateful for the community’s overwhelming support and enthusiasm toward pet healthcare,” she said.
The success of the clinic was made possible by the generous support of the local community. Saipan Humane Society extends its heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to the event’s success.
Special acknowledgments go to Coral Garden Hotel and Ace Car Rental for sponsoring accommodation and rental car services, respectively. Their contributions were instrumental in ensuring a smooth and successful clinic.
