SLLB Inc. meeting on Oct. 26

The Saipan Little League Baseball Inc. will be having a general membership meeting for election of officers for its board of directors for the 2025 season.

All interested individuals willing to serve on the SLLB Inc. board of directors are encouraged to attend this meeting.

The meeting will be held on Oct. 26, 2024, starting at 9am at the Minachom Atdao Pavilion in Susupe. (PR)

CBUA to hold umpires’ accreditation course

The CNMI Baseball Umpires Association will be hosting an umpires’ accreditation course in the latter part of October and is inviting potential and interested individuals to register for this course. The course will consist of a 10-hour session covering theory (lecture) and technical aspects (on field mechanics). The evening sessions will be broken down to two hours per day. CBUA requires participants to pay upfront a $50 registration fee prior to the start of the course.

To be a certified umpire, participants must pass at least 70% of the final exam which should be attained at the end of the course.
