VARO will host 3rd Annual Purple Gala: Gupot CHamoru Fotmåt
Victim Advocates Reaching Out, or VARO, is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated 3rd Annual Purple Gala, set to take place on Oct. 12, 2024, 6pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Grand Ballroom. This year’s theme, “Gupot CHamoru Fotmåt” (A Formal CHamoru Party/Celebration) aims to highlight the unity and resilience of the CHamoru community.
The Purple Gala is VARO’s signature event and our highest grossing fundraising effort, crucial for supporting victims of domestic violence, abuse, rape, and other traumatic events. The funds raised enable us to continue offering vital services and support to those in need.
As always, the Purple Gala promises an evening of inspiring and uplifting stories, raffle prizes, entertainment, and new memories. This year, we are also seeking donations for raffle drawings to be held throughout the night. Your generous contributions can help make a significant impact and provide much-needed support to our community.
