Yeom, IPI, OAG hold wrap-up settlement discussion

The Commonwealth Casino Commission board granted today, Tuesday, the request of CCC executive director Andrew Yeom to have a two-hour recess of the special meeting for a last-minute wrap up settlement discussion with Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC.

Yeom made the emergency request as the public comments portion of the meeting had just started.

Yeom said the last-minute discussion is critical as it will impact the final decision of the commissioners whether to revoke or not IPI’s exclusive casino license.

CCC vice chair Rafael S. Demapan ordered a two-hour recess after the public comments portion was completed.
