Zheng resigns as IPI manager/director

Dongting Zheng has resigned as manager/director of the Saipan casino licensee, Imperial Pacific International (CNMI) LLC.

How-Yo Chi has been appointed as the new manager/director of IPI, according to a document received by the CNMI Department of Commerce last Oct. 13, a copy of which was obtained by Saipan Tribune yesterday.

Zheng said the authorization for Chi to serve as manager/director shall be in effect until otherwise terminated by the board of directors of Imperial Pacific Holdings Limited.

Zheng’s resignation and Chi’s appointment is on the agenda of the CCC board’s regular monthly meeting this Thursday.

In April 2020, then-Commonwealth Casino Commission executive director Edward C. DeLeon Guerrero stated that he wanted to know the veracity of a document indicating that Zheng has been designated as the sole IPI board director.
