The 8th Saipan and Northern Islands Municipal Council recently adopted a resolution congratulating the 2004 CNMI All-Stars Junior League Baseball Team for capturing the 2004 Asia-Pacific Regional Little League Baseball Tournament Championship Title.
The CNMI team did this by nipping Guam 5-4 during their match on July 14, 2004, at Guam Hagatña’s Paseo Stadium.
The 2004 Asia-Pacific Regional Little League Baseball tournaments featured teams from Indonesia, the Philippines, Guam and the CNMI.
