Policemen issued a citation ticket against Jai Yong So for exceeding the speed limit, reckless driving, and failure to possess a driver’s license.
Police spokesman Pete C. Muna said the man was recklessly driving his blue sedan at the parking lot of McDonald’s. Muna said the vehicle hit a curb and then went off the pavement to the dirt road, landing on the northbound lane of the highway.
A witness reportedly told police that the man’s car was speeding. The driver claimed, however, that he accidentally stepped on the car’s gas pedal.
