Point Break Series Challenge at PIC
Two rounds down and three to go in the Point Break Series Challenge at the Pacific Islands Club, and no matter how much water flows through the park, the competition continues to heat up. If you haven’t yet been down to try the Flow Rider at the PIC, you can still compete on August 28, and September 11.
There are singles, doubles and big trick competitions throughout the tri-month series that is sponsored in part by Coca Cola. Men and women will be grouped into age divisions 12-and-under, 13-17, 18-34, and 35-and-over, and there are still some openings available.
To be a part of all of the action, venture down PIC information counter and pick up an entry form. It’s only $10 to enter one any one of the events, but $30 will grant you access to all five surf-off’s, special discounts, and PIC facility privileges.
For more information, please contact Nan Intharaluk, Evan Hunsberger, Curtis Wilson, or Cole Pritchard by calling 235-6231 extension 5147 or 5148.
