The Saipan Chamber of Commerce said that it will take information from businesses damaged by Supertyphoon Chaba that want to apply for help from the Small Business Administration.

In a statement e-mailed to the Saipan Tribune, it said that businesses should call 233-7150 between 8am and 5pm with the following information:

* business name;
* business location;
* contact person;
* telephone number;
* fax number; and
* summary of the damage.

The Chamber of Commerce said it will pass the information to the Small Business Administration, which will then make its own reviews and determinations.

“This service is available to all businesses on Saipan; a business does not need to be a member of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce to avail itself of this service,” it said.

The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is the largest private business organization in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Through business leadership and membership involvement in community issues, the Chamber continues to develop its role as a beacon for good business in these islands, the Pacific region and in business communities abroad.
