Marianas CableVision said yesterday that it continues to work to restore cable television service to the islands of Saipan, Tinian and Rota.

As of yesterday, it said all live channel services have been restored, except for Fox and KACV, “and we continue to work to bring those channels up.”

MCV said that damage assessment is almost complete and replacement materials and staff from off-island have been mobilized.

“As the power returns cable service has been restored to some areas, but many pockets of outages remain,” it said in a statement.

Customers who still have a service outage can call MCV at 235-4628.

“We are currently experiencing a large volume of phone calls. Please leave your name, village area, and phone number and we’ll log in your outage, and this will help us get service restored in the most efficient manner possible,” it said.
