I would just like to say to Mr. Barcinas on Saipan that I was in that status too (IRR) in the Reserve in Guam (411 ECB HVY), before getting my orders to deploy to Iraq. It was a shock but we all have to do what we signed up for. I wish the best of luck to you and your family. I am here right now in Iraq doing my one-year tour. The only advice I can give you is to train hard, stay alert and train as you fight. Go for broke, 100 Battalion Echo Company.
