Not even Mother Nature’s wet weather was able to cool off the hot play Norman Tenorio, who was in a zone of his own and cruised to claiming the Refalawasch Golf Association August Club tournament held last Saturday at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort.

Tenorio’s hot streak outclassed the rest of the playing field, resulting in him taking the coveted crown with a score of 1-under par 71. With the win, he earned a ticket to compete in the year-end club champion tournament scheduled to unfold on December.

In related news, the RGA announced that its September qualifying tournament is set for this Saturday, Sept. 4, at the Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort.

Check in time is 11am while tee off is scheduled to begin at noon.

At the same time, the COP will hold its regular Preoria Tournament, which allows RGA members to team up for the event.
