Alcaraz captures Power Golf’s October Ace

Power Golf Club continued its monthly ace of the month tournament last Oct. 16 at the Marianas Country Club in Marpi and this time it was the turn of Joey Alcaraz to take home the plum.
Not even typhoon-like conditions with scattered showers and heavy, gusty winds could stop Power Golf Club’s monthly event. The day was cool but the wind was blowing strong but still youngster Sasaki Oliver and home run slugger Eddy Kapileo came in first and second with net scores of 74 and 77, respectively.
However, since Oliver and Kapileo already won this year, the third-place Alcaraz was awarded the October title. The golfer from the Philippines came in with a net score of 78.
Power Golf Club is calling all members to come out and put up the challenge against golfers from Saipan, Philippines, Palau, Chuuk, and even Pohnpei.
The next Power Golf Club game is scheduled for this coming Saturday, Oct. 30, at Laolao Bay Golf Resort. Tee time is at 7:30am but players are asked to show up 30 minutes before game time.
