The Northern Marianas Junior Golf League, in cooperation with the Guam Junior Golf League and the Shich Su Yin Scholarship, will be holding a tournament on Nov. 27 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

Dubbed Shieh Su Ying Junior Golf Championship, the tournament is open to all junior golfers of the CNMI and Guam between the ages of 7 years old and 18 years old.

“The Shich Su Yin Scholarship in association with the Northern Marianas Junior Golf League and the Guam Junior Golf League will be sponsoring the Shich Su Yin Junior Golf Championship,” said NMI Golfers League president Edward Manibusan. “All junior golfers are welcome to participate in this event.”

Manibusan added that the tournament would showcase over 25 of the best junior golfers from Guam competing against the best local talent.

“We are also encouraging parents to come and help out as volunteers during the tournament as your participation will be greatly needed and appreciated,” he said.

Application forms are available at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort, Coral Ocean Point Golf Resort, and at the Law Office of Edward Manibusan in Fina Sisu.

Entry fee is $15 for 7-10-year-olds and $30 for 11-18-year-olds. Deadline for submission of entries is Nov. 13.
