Two men are facing criminal charges for allegedly beating up another, court records showed.

The Attorney General’s Office lodged a complaint against Jose I. Quitugua, 43, and Juan I. Quitugua, 40. The criminal information did not indicate if the defendants are brothers.

CNMI chief prosecutor David Hutton accused the Quituguas of attacking one Mariano Q. Falig Jr. on Saipan last Sept. 19.

Hutton filed two counts of assault and battery and a count of disturbing the peace against Juan I. Quitugua, while Jose I. Quitugua faces a count each of both offenses. (John Ravelo)
