Mayor Tudela warns vs cockfighting violators
The Office of the Mayor-Saipan is informing the public that the Saipan Cockpit on Chalan Pale Arnold (Middle Road) in Garapan is the only legally authorized operator of cockfighting activities on Saipan.
The Office of the Mayor-Saipan is informing the public that the Saipan Cockpit on Chalan Pale Arnold (Middle Road) in Garapan is the only legally authorized operator of cockfighting activities on Saipan.
“All other operators (except those holding a temporary letter of authorization) are operating illegally,” according to a notice from the Office of the Mayor.
It said that any person who violates any provision of Saipan Local Law 9-8, the Saipan Cockfighting Act, shall be fined not more than $600, or be imprisoned not more than three months, or both.
