A win-win solution

The approval of the sale of Verizon is a win-win situation for the CNMI. The government and the people won by forcing Verizon agree to the government’s terms and conditions while PTI won by having the sale consummated. What Mr. Delgado needs to do now is make true his promise of investing in the island. We will wait for that $20 million to be invested starting immediately just to show his sincerity. Besides since he is still monopolizing the telecom business in the island, then he must give back to the island what he gets from it. I hope there is another company that will decide to lay the fiber optic cable just to test Mr. Delgado’s sincerity in fulfilling his promise.
