An air traffic control specialist at Air Services Pacific Inc. and a manager at DFS Saipan Limited were the winners of Verizon’s Valentine’s His and Her Gift Giveaway contest.

Neil Borja received a four-course meal for two at Hyatt’s Giovanni Restaurant, while Gemma Good, a support/inventory manager for DFS, got the Maitre D Special for two at Aqua Resort Club’s Raraina Restaurant.

“Wow, I actually won,” were the first words Borja said when he was informed about the great news. He also said that he was excited because this is the first contest that he has ever won. He said he plans to use the gift certificate as soon as possible with his wife, Norma.

Good was at her office and was surprised when she was informed that she was one of the lucky winners of the contest. She said that, although her family currently has three cell phones, the promotion was a big factor in getting another phone.

The winners of the contest were also given Verizon logo products such as beach chairs and balls, hats, shirts, and coffee mugs. Both of the winners were given two of each product for themselves and their loved ones.

One-hundred-and-fourteen entries were received for the contest and the event lasted for about two weeks. Every person who purchased a cell phone during the promotional period had their names entered into the contest and the winners were informed on Valentine’s Day.

Verizon said there are other specials going on for the rest of the month, including the Kyocera Slider for only $129 and the Kyocera 3225 for only $75. Some conditions apply.

“So come on in to Verizon and check out our cool deals that are happening for the rest of the month at Verizon’s customer service on middle road. Verizon, we never stop working for you!” (PR)
