Hoopaholics and Ulloa are off to impressive starts in the BANMI 25-and-under Basketball League, currently posting 2-0 win-loss cards.

One of the two, however, will not sport a perfect record after Saturday’s league action as the two teams face-off against each other in the opening bout of the league’s third week. Tip off for their match is scheduled for 12pm.

Hoopaholics are coming off a win against Garapan Rollers, where they rallied back from double-digit deficits last Saturday despite playing the final three minutes with only four players.

Earlier, the Hoopaholics defeated the Ghasias 7-Kings, 98-79, behind the solid offensive play of Jason Amado.

Ulloa, meanwhile, edged the 7-Kings last Saturday 79-75 and came back from a slow start to blow out San Antonio Wildcats, 80-60, a week earlier.

Other games this week include the Sunrisers taking on the G-Rollers at 2pm, followed by the Tanapag Warriors and the 7-Kings taking the court at 4pm. All fours teams will be charging to break into the win column.

Capping the cage fest is a battle between 2-0 Toyota Prius and the Wildcats, who posted their first win of the season by edging the Warriors, 78-77.

The Prius, meanwhile, cruised past the Sunrisers, 93-59, and the G-Rollers, 112-105.
