The 2005 BANMI 25-and-under Basketball League resumes tonight, kicking off its fourth week of action with two games at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

The first game, scheduled to tip off at 6:30pm, features undefeated Toyota Prius taking on the Ghasias 7-Kings.

Toyota has won three games in as many starts and is currently tied with the SaipanCell-NMC Hoopaholics on top of the team standings.

In their opening day match, Toyota defeated the G-Rollers, and followed that up with wins over the San Vicente Sunrisers and the San Antonio Wildcats.

The 7-Kings of sweet-shooting brothers Freddie and Ben Pelisamen, meanwhile, are coming off their first win of the season after beating the Tanapag Warriors last Saturday. The squad currently sports a 1-2 win-loss card.

Following the bout will be a battle between teams that also post 1-2 records, as Ben Sablan, Tyler Yu, and Henry Sablan lead their Wildcats against Ryan Mendoza, Pete Iguel, Kelvin Fitial and the Garapan Rollers. Tip off is scheduled for 8pm.

The Wildcats edged the Warriors two weeks ago to move into the win column, while the G-Rollers defeated the Sunrisers last Saturday.

League action continues tomorrow as the Warriors make a charge towards breaking into the win column. Standing in their way is Ulloa, who are coming off their first loss of the season, when they fell to the Hoopaholics Saturday. The two are expected to tango at 1pm.

Meanwhile, the Hoopaholics will also strive to make it four in a row as they set their sights against the Sunrisers.

Like Prius, the SaipanCell-NMC squad also has an undefeated record and is determined to repeat as champions of the league.

For their part, Jawn Joyner, Charlie Peters and the Sunrisers will enter determined to pull off an upset and in the process record their first win.
