The future of the Internet is now at Shirley’s Coffee Shop and it doesn’t require being “wired.”

As part of its value-added service to its customers, Shirley’s Coffee Shop in Garapan and Susupe are now wireless-enabled, which means that customers can access the Internet at the restaurant using their wireless-capable laptops.

This feature enables “power-lunches” between individuals, business people, and students, among others, in a conductive environment and is complimentary to all its customers with wireless-ready laptop PCs to connect to the Internet at high speed.

Shirley’s wireless Internet uses 802.11b protocol technology, also called “Wi-Fi” (Wireless Fidelity), the most popular standard for wireless LAN network.

“Shirley’s Coffee Shop in Garapan and Susupe locations make one of Saipan’s newest wireless ‘hot spots.’ So bring your laptop and enjoy your meal while experiencing the freedom of wireless broadband Internet with us,” said the restaurant in a statement.
