GUAM—CTSI Logistics celebrated the grand opening of their new location in Tamuning last Tuesday, March 8, with Gov. Felix Camacho himself leading the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new location has two large buildings and has been officially named the CTSI Logistics Industrial Center.

Two large buildings make up the new center. The front building is for lease to outside companies, while the building in the rear is the new CTSI Logistics office and Distribution Center.

The company said in a statement that it changed locations to better serve its customers.

“CTSI Logistics has moved their warehouse and operations from Harmon Industrial Park to the new location in Tamuning. The Tamuning facility offers clients new age technology and innovative information systems to facilitate their shipping and consulting needs,” the company statement adds.

CTSI said the brand new building was constructed of 100 percent concrete material in order to protect stored goods and products from destructive typhoons; it is also equipped with a state-of-the-art security system to safeguard client’s interests.

“The new facility is the safest place to hold and store cargo on Guam and is located on 278 Leon Guerrero Drive (Pick-A-Nail Drive), (behind Denny’s and Atkins Kroll Toyota) in Tamuning,” the statement said.

The company held a news briefing before the official start of the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Fr. David Quitugua of the Guam Archdiocese conducted the office blessing and a mini-program featured special messages from CEO and president, Jerry Tan, vice president George Chiu and remarks from Gov. Camacho.

A banquet was held at the new facility in appreciation to customers, employees, local government and the media.
