Mensahen kongradulasion to essay, jingle tilt winners

The Department of Community and Cultural Affairs’ Chamorro/Carolinian Policy Commission announced the names of students who won the essay and jingle contest sponsored by the office to promote indigenous languages in the Commonwealth.

Winners of the essay contest that was held on Feb. 24 are:

“Keep up the good work and strive for excellence,” said the commission in a statement. “Abiba I Lengguahita…Mwareiti Mwaliyasch.”

The DCCA-CCLPC office also thanked the dedicated and tireless judges of the contests for their invaluable help. The judges were Tony Joe Angui, Rosie Warakai, Patrick Romolor, Herbert DelRosario, Dolores Marciano, and Noel Quitugua.

“We salute you ladies and gentlemen,” the commission said.
