Police arrested six boys with ages ranging from 12 to 14 after being tagged as suspects in the theft of $1,400-worth of equipment from the Garapan Elementary School.

Department of Public Safety spokesman Eric David said yesterday that the boys fell into hands of police Friday after the Superior Court issued warrants for their arrests.

David withheld the boys’ identities, but said that all of the six suspects are Chuukese.

The Thief Apprehension Select Coalition tagged the boys as suspects in the theft of two camcorders and other school property from GES sometime in November last year.

Investigation revealed that the culprits managed to forcibly enter several classrooms through front doors, David said.
