Methodists to hold special Holy Week services

Three Methodist churches—Immanuel Korean Methodist, Immanuel Filipino Congregation and Immanuel United Methodist Church—will be holding special joint worship services this week.

Persons unable to attend their own church or have no church home are warmly welcome to attend any or all of these services:

* 8:00 pm Maundy Thursday Communion Service. In English, Korean and Filipino

* 8:00 pm Good Friday Tenebrae [“Darkness”] Service. Service of scripture and song in Fijian, English and Filipino

* 5:30 am Easter Morning Sunrise Service, Coral Ocean Point Beach. Service will be in Korean, Filipino and English

Guides at the Coral Ocean Point Resort parking lot will direct attendees to parking and service location. Attendees are encouraged to bring a flashlight and a mat to sit on. A simple breakfast will be provided after the service.

Easter Sunday Worship Services

8:00 am Immanuel Methodist Filipino Congregation Worship

9:00 am Immanuel United Methodist Family Worship

10:30 am Immanuel Korean Methodist Worship

All services except the Easter Sunrise Service will be held at Immanuel Korean Methodist Church As Lito Road in Koblerville. For further information, call Pastor Bud Carroll at 322-6158.
