CTSI Saipan recently hosted a gathering for some of its local business partners to help them understand the world of logistics and supply chain management and the importance of choosing the right information technology solutions to help them compete on a global scale.

CTSI vice-president for operations and logistics Jun Heramia led a team of speakers, which included CTSI Saipan general manager Rene Magalong, logistics consultant Lawrence Balolong and corporate human resources manager Cynthia Yniguez in helping CTSI Saipan’s business partners gain in-depth knowledge about the logistics industry and supply chain management.

The workshop was held on March 11 at the Azucena Room of the Dai ichi Hotel Saipan Beach.

“This is the first time for CTSI to offer this workshop and we intend to continue hosting these gatherings so we can help our local business partners in gaining an edge to compete on a global level. For this first gathering, our aim was to give our local partners the ability to help them determine their logistics requirements” said Magalong.

Magalong said CTSI will sponsor additional workshops within the year as part of the company’s commitment to further develop and enhance its partnership with Saipan businesses.

CTSI is one of the fastest growing affiliates of Tan Holdings Corp. Established in 1989, CTSI’s network of services includes warehousing, distribution management, inventory management, logistics operations, logistics consulting, logistics training, procurement and international freight forwarding.
