Easter family fun day with Joeten Motors
Hundreds of families and other members of the public celebrated Easter Sunday a day early, trooping to the Airport Road field for a motor show.
More than 50 vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks and many more were showcased by Joeten Motor Co. Inc. for the Ford and Nissan Easter launch of their latest models and innovations.
General manager Joe C. Guerrero said he was happy with the turnout of the event. Visitors began converging on the venue as early as 9am.
“Aside from exposing the new models [from Ford and Nissan] and promote Joeten Motors, one of the focus of the company is to reach out to the community,” he said.
The Easter Launch not only showcased the brand new models in the car industry but also featured several activities welcoming Easter Sunday. The company sponsored fun activities such as Easter egg hunts, Easter basket making contest, egg painting contest, drawing contest, face painting booth, hitter’s batting cage and many more. Joeten Motors also distributed 1,200 decorated eggs to the guests and visitors.
The program in the morning also included a presentation on the brown tree snake and musical entertainment by Make-A-Wish discovery and recording artist, Amber.
Sales consultants from Ford and Nissan also took center stage as they presented the latest innovations and features of the new models. Visitors and guests were given the chance to test-drive their vehicles of choice.
For those who test-drove the vehicles, Joeten Motors gave away special prizes through a raffle drawing, with a grand prize of $2,000 worth of gift certificate for a shopping spree at Price-Costco.
Guerrero said it was the first time they organized a motor show. He said the event was targeted at families on Saipan, for them to have fun while viewing the latest Ford and Nissan models. “We wanted to show our appreciation to the community,” he said.
