KAGES REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

Kagman Elementary School will start registering children for grades Kindergarten to 5th for school year 2005-2006.

Registration begins on April 4, 2005 and ends on April 29, 2005 from 9am to 4pm daily.

Kagman Elementary will register children from the following areas only: Kagman I, II, III, Upper Papago (Botanical Garden to Kagman), Agag, and As Teo.

For Kindergarten students, the child must be 5 years old on or before Aug. 31. For 1st grade students, the child must be 6 years old on or before Aug. 31.

The following documents must submitted for your child(ren) to be enrolled:

1. Official Registration Form
2. Birth Certificate
3. CHC Health Certificate (original)
4. Transcript/Report Card/Withdrawal from exiting school
5. Entry Permit, if not a U.S. citizen
6. Affidavit of Guardianship/Power of Attorney (if applicable)
7. Map of residence
8. Health Insurance policy

All students registering must have complete documents submitted on or before the end of the designated registration dates. Incomplete documents will not be accepted.

GCA SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

Registration for new students with siblings enrolled at Grace Christian Academy is ongoing until April 1. Registration for new students will begin on April 4.

GCA calendar of activities for the end of March and the month of April are the following:

April 1-2 (Fri.-Sat): Renaissance Learning Professional Development Days (No School)

Accelerated Math and Reading Workshop for Faculty & Staff

April 4-6: Kindergarten Stanford 10 Achievement Testing Days

April 5-7: G1 – G12 Stanford 10 Achievement Testing Days

April 7: Kindergarten 3rd Qtr. Parent Teacher Conference (No School for K4 and K5)

April 8: Kindergarten to G12 3rd Qtr. Parent Teacher Conference (No School for K4 to G12)

April 18-22: Mid Quarter Exams. There will be no three week exams for 4th quarter.

April 22: Regular School Day

April 29: Spring Production rescheduled – Regular School Day

April 5: DEQ/KagES Adopt-A-Beach, Marine Beach Cleanup.
April 7, 2005: Report Card Day, from 2:30pm-4:30pm.
April 13: PTA meeting #9, 6:30pm, school cafeteria
April 14-15: KagES’ 2nd Annual Science Fair
April 18-22: SAT 10 testing for all KagES 3rd & 5th grade students.
Dental Sealant Week for 1st graders
April 25-29: Dental Sealant Week for 5th graders
April 27: 4th Qtr. Mid-Progress Report due to parents.

WSR REGISTRATION SCHEDULE

The William S. Reyes Elementary School will begin the registration for school year 2005-2006. The schedule is as follow:

Kindergarten: April 4-8, 2005
1st Grade: April 11-15, 2005
2nd Grade: April 18-22, 2005
3rd Grade: April 25-29, 2005
4th Grade: May 2-6, 2005
5th Grade: May 9-13, 2005
6th Grade: May 16-20, 2005

Kindergarten students must be born on Sept. 1, 1999 to Aug. 31, 2000 to be eligible to register and must be residing within the Chalan Kanoa, Susupe, As Perdido and Chalan Piao School Zones. The same goes to the rest of the grade level. Registration will be held in the principal’s office from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

W.S. Reyes Elementary School cannot guarantee to make copies of documents. Therefore, in order to prevent unnecessary delay, parents are urged to provide the school registrar with copies of the following documents:

1. Birth Certificate
2. Health Certificate
3. Health Insurance
4. Social Security Number

“We cannot register students without the above documents, so make sure you have the documents with you,” the school said.

OLEAI ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REGISTRATION

Oleai Elementary School announces that the registration for school year 2005-2006 will begin for all incoming Kindergartens and new 1st graders. Registration will start on Friday, April 1, 2005 and will end on Friday, April 29, 2005, from 8am to 4pm. Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by end of August 2005 and students entering 1st grade must be 6 years old by end of August 2005.

For students transferring into Oleai Elementary School, (Grades 2nd through 6th) registration will be in June to July 2005.

Documents required for registration are:

1. Birth certificate (from the court)
2. School entrance Health Certificate
3. Current Accident or Health Insurance Coverage
4. Residency Map
5. Legal Adoption/Guardianship documents (if applicable)
6. Valid CNMI entry permit (if applicable)
7. Transfer-In/Withdrawal forms and report card from previous school for transfer-in students

Oleai Elementary School zone covers the areas bounded by south of Hongkong Restaurant on Beach Road to Quarter Master, Gualo Rai, Middle Road Chalan Laulau, Chalan Kiya (Golf Course), bottom of As Terlaje Hill, North of Island Market to Falughula, and San Jose (Oleai).
