A frank letter to an uncle

I believe Mr. Cole and Ms. Flores, as well as everyone else from the Marianas, know how one obtains a doctorate degree, and yes they are minorities, so they do understand the mindset of contemporary society. My understanding of Ms. Flores’ article is, “Is your passion in the field of your doctorate degree, or is it in the field of journalism?” Because to everyone, you seem to be very passionate about writing articles everyday. What I believe Ms. Flores is trying to say is, if you love being the doctor you have worked hard for, why aren’t you using that expertise to provide service to the “indigenous” people of the Marianas? Why is it that all we hear from you is negative criticism, as well as personal attacks on writers who want to express their concerns? Why don’t you take action from where your mouth is? Why is it that you are disturbed by other people’s responses, and not answer them from your heart, and not reinstate facts that everyone already knows that they don’t want to hear? I believe the people of the Marianas want to read what comes from your heart, and not the facts that you do research on. I believe what Ms. Flores wrote came from her heart. And this is what the people of the Marianas want to read. To Ms. Flores, job well done! I guess Mr. Camacho does not have the passion in his field of expertise, because he does not believe in helping others but himself.

To the people of the Marianas, I am sincerely sorry for how my Uncle Dr. Camacho has expressed his views, and I deeply apologize for his disturbance.
